The Project
Carrying out fire remedial works in line with our BM Trada Q mark fire door installation scheme to Rugby Borough Council’s portfolio of residential and house of multiple occupation (HMO) properties within the Warwickshire area.
Additionally, we carry out detailed fire door surveys to determine the condition of the existing fire doors within the communal areas of the properties and provide a comprehensive report to Rugby Borough Council detailing the following; observation ID, fire rating requirement, notional door, floor number, location/description, approximate age of the door, standard condition of the door, style of the door, existing door size, existing aperture within the frame, frame thickness and whether the door has any existing hinges, glazing or door furniture.
The detailed fire door survey report allows our client, Rugby Borough Council to get a clear understanding of the condition of their doors and allows them to create a door register for their portfolio of properties. This level of detail is beneficial to the client as it allows them to provide the door details to an external contractor so the works can be priced and therefore replaced to meet the current standards and regulations.
